This Tong Zen Phoenix Guzheng is a great sounding full size instrument. Made with fine wood selection and improved backboard design for a full, rich and open sound.
Featuring a beautiful hand painted rendition of the phoenix rising from the ashes, flying high against a blood red moon. Another painting is found on the tuning box, black background with the moon in the distance.

This is my first time purchasing from the guzheng shop but not my first guzheng. My first guzheng was a travel size from another shop which (after waiting for many weeks to go through customs and arrive from China) the sound board cracked straight across after a few months. I then purchased a mini Guzheng from my former teacher. It has been good but now that I also have this full size, I can really hear and see the difference in sound and quality. It is just like the photos/ demo video and sounds amazing! Everything was carefully packaged and arrived safely to the east coast in about 1 week. It came with extra strings #1-5, nails, tape, duster, soft cover and a nice travel bag. Very happy with everything and hope this Guzheng can grow along with me for many years. Fully recommend this shop!
