Of note is the soundboard, which is air dried for over 8 years and carved from a single piece of Paulownia. Decorated with a Chinese style painting in the scene of a mountain. When played strings feel easy to play, sound is warm, and well resonate.

This guzheng is so gorgeous! But the real highlight is by far the sound, as a Zhuque, it has such a loud, rich and full sounding bass that is so satisfying. The feel is solid and you know it’s an instrument you are going to keep around for many years. Has been the best instrument I have bought yet
