The second: Rare wood species with special patterns such as rosewood, red sandalwood, ebony, etc.

木九辰所用木材，主要分为两类。
其一：以深山桐木为优选良材，
经自然风干和贮存陈放，待木性稳定后，制成筝体。
其二：由大红酸枝、小叶紫檀、乌木等花纹特异的珍稀木种，
经刨切后，制成饰面。
附于筝体外表
