This Flamed Maple Concert Grade Guzheng Zhuque “Rhyme of the Sea” is an instrument of excellent quality. Of note is the soundboard, which is air-dried for over 8 years and carved from a single piece of Paulownia. Beautifully decorated with stunning maple and walnut veneers, with piano paint and inlays. When playing, the touch is firm, and the sound is well resonate, with excellent balance between registers.
